Every working person deserves to be treated with respect, whether they work in an office, a restaurant, a construction site, or in a home. Unfortunately, domestic workers in DC like nannies, house cleaners, and home health aides don’t have the same legal protections against employment discrimination, harassment, and unsafe workplaces. That’s why JUFJ is joining domestic workers in their campaign to introduce and pass a Domestic Workers Bill of Rights. Join us to learn about this critical labor justice issue and what you can do to support domestic workers in their fight for equal rights. Please contact Michelle Engelmann at rjh500@aol.com if you have questions.
