Buses continue to arrive in DC from southern border states and while most of the migrants arriving move on to family or friends in other parts of the country, many choose to make the DMV their home. How can we make our community a welcoming and safe haven for them? Join us for a discussion on this issue on Wednesday, November 9 from 7pm to 8:30pm on Zoom. Our panel will feature

• Amy Fischer, Americas Advocacy Director at Amnesty International USA and a Core Organizer with the Migrant Solidarity Mutual Aid Network
• Eli Johnson, Executive Director, Congregation Action Network.
• A recent migrant to the area from Venezuela who has decided to make the DMV his new home
