Advocating for Abortion: Language and Myth Busting

Language is important.
Dr. Sara Imershein, doctor, educator and advocate, will lead this discussion. We will learn the tested language to best frame abortion conversations for effective advocacy, how to respond to abortion misinformation with education and evidence-based facts. We will also explore why there are no such things as functional abortion “exceptions” and understand the dangers of setting arbitrary gestational limits.
